Heritage Day 2015
Main Street: At the Heart of the Community
Heritage Day Graphic Now Available Online!
Ottawa, ON, November 14, 2014 – The National Trust for Canada is launching a special graphic for Heritage Day 2015, Main Street: At the Heart of the Community. Celebrate with us on February 16, 2015!
“Our Main Streets and traditional downtowns are a heritage worth celebrating,” said executive director Natalie Bull. “Spread the word about this year’s theme with our striking new sharable graphic. Heritage Day offers community groups and municipalities an opportunity to recognize the role main streets and the historic buildings that line them play in attracting new residents, inviting tourists, and stimulating new investment—whether in small towns or big-city neighbourhoods.”
Show your love for Canada’s main streets: Share the Heritage Day graphic with your friends and followers on Twitter and Facebook. Add the image to your website or print it as a poster. You can also visit www.heritagecanada.org for a great list of suggested activities to help you and your community celebrate Heritage Day.
