Young Canada Works
Each year, the National Trust's YCW Coordinator visits participating organizations and interviews the students and their supervisors. All of the students interviewed showed enthusiasm for their summer jobs and year-long internships, each of them grateful for finding employment related to their fields of study. Their supervisors--representatives of mainly non-profit organizations--spoke of their appreciation for the YCW program's support, and several emphasized that without such support they would not have been able to run their summer projects.
