Loans for Heritage Conservation:

• Port Hope (Ontario) – The Port Hope Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario provides loans at near prime rate for approved projects on designated commercial or residential buildings. • Markham (Ontario) – The Town of Markham provides short-term loans to restore heritage features or replicate lost features on designated heritage properties. An applicant may use the loan as part of the matching component for a heritage grant. http://www.heritageporthope.com/designation.html
