Ottawa, ON, May 12, 2014 – The deadline to submit a nomination to Heritage Canada The National Trust’s Top Ten Endangered Places List is only five days away!

There are many threatened historic places across the country that help tell the story of who we are and where we came from. But we need your help to find them. 

Since the first list in 2005, HCNT has been bringing national attention to sites at risk due to neglect, lack of funding, inappropriate development and weak legislation. It has become a powerful tool in the fight to make landmarks, not landfill.

If you know of a place that matters in your community, this is your chance to help raise awareness about its plight. Click here for the 2014 Top Ten Endangered Places List Form. 

Nominations should be received by Friday, May 16, 2014. The 2014 list will be announced in July.
