Introducing locale, the magazine of the National Trust for Canada – with a fresh new look and a new name in time for Canada 150.  

Dedicated to the people and the places that bring heritage to life, locale shares success stories of great buildings, sites and communities being regenerated and renewed, celebrates heritage champions and game changers, and features heritage destinations to visit and discover. 

We think the name locale helps hitch our wagon to the local movement, shake off some of the baggage of the “h” word (heritage) and strengthen our focus on places where something special happens!
